Nice scoop. You seem to be on a roll with these lately. It's a shame that the GSM versions of these phones do not get the music controls. I really do not like "dumbed down" versions of devices.

The launch date was supposed to be scheduled for March 26th, 2007, but T-Mobile has re-scheduled the launch date to April 2nd, 2007.

Do you know if the KRZR K1 will be able to send 2-megapixel images or will the images be hacked down to 300x400?
I tried the RIZR Z3 and every 2 megapixel image I took and sent to my gmail address was reduced to 300x400.
Ugh. What is the point of a megapixel camera if I can use it!

If you are sending the images via MMS then the images will be scaled down for the purpose of being compatible with older phones that might receive the message. If you want to get the full resolution image on your PC then you need to send the picture over bluetooth directly to your computer. If your computer does not have bluetooth built in then you can pick up a bluetooth dongle, so that you can add bluetooth ability, at almost any electronics retail place or at an online electronics store(I recommend www.newegg.com, I got mine cheap there). Oh, and welcome to Reaper PC/PDA.
