In the Developer/Hacker section over at modaco.com, a challenge was posted for someone to come up with a solution to turn off/disable the blinking LEDs on the HTC Hermes and other devices. The winner of this challenge will win a 2GB storage card in the format of their choice. So far someone has come up with one solution but has not won the challenge. Here is a qoute for the solution
Quote:Solution confirmed working for Universal and Hermes. Prophet, Tornado etc. still to be tamed - prize still up for grabs!
Universal / Hermes: CAB install to disable all LEDs, GUI to follow. Reboot required after install. Simply use add-remove to revert back for now! |
